Medical College & KEM Hospital, followed by DM in Cardiology from LTMMC, Sion Hospital. Dr. Taksande is deeply committed to innovation in cardiac care. He has pioneered the use of 3D imaging-guided angioplasty using IVUS and OCT, ensuring precise, safe, and long-lasting results. His proficiency also extends to Rotaablation, Orbital Atherectomy, Intravascular Lithotripsy, and bioabsorbable stents for managing complex and calcified lesions.
He has been instrumental in starting the TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) program at both Bethany and Wockhardt Hospitals,
offering a minimally invasive valve replacement solution for elderly patients — performed through a groin-based approach without the need for surgical incisions.
